The Nor’easter

John McGinnis, David Burke’s Fromagerie

For more than 40 years, Fromagerie has been a landmark restaurant in Rumson, an area along the Jersey Shore, nestled between the Navesink and Shrewsbury rivers and the Atlantic Ocean. John McGinnis, the Bar Manager, does the mixing here and only has great things to say about Shipwreck Vanilla Rum: “Shipwreck is great to mix with because it has this really subtle complexity to it.” He quickly mixed up his signature drink, The Nor’easter, and had us lingering around for a few more. We strongly advise heading here and trying one yourself - David Burke’s Fromagerie, Rumson, N.J.
